  • February 2024: Bertel Otto Bryde Steen elected as a board member, replacing CFO Lars Brynildsrud.
  • January 2024: Signed a three-year back-to-back TC for an Eco design, scrubber-fitted VLCC (Eagle Victoria) at a charter rate of USD 51,000 per day and immediately chartered the vessel back out. Successfully completed a private placement, raising NOK 124,000,000.
  • December 2023: Successfully completed a private placement, raising NOK 21,500,000.
  • November 2023: Signed a three-year back-to-back TC for an Eco design, scrubber-fitted VLCC (DHT Puma) at a charter rate of USD 52,500 per day and immediately chartered the vessel back out. Phase one of the CCTS solution was successfully completed.
  • March 2023: Morten Eivindssøn Astrup elected Chairman of the Board, replacing Henrik August Christensen. CFO Lars Brynildsrud elected as a board member, replacing Arne Fredly. Entered into a Joint Venture with DNV and Vedum Design for a ship-based CO2 transport solution.
  • January 2023: Hunter Management acquires a 19% stake in the company from Apollo Asset Ltd.

  • 2022: Delivered Hunter Freya, Hunter Frigg, Hunter Idun, and Hunter Disen to new owners.
  • 2022: Distributed approximately USD 100m to the Company’s shareholders through dividends and share buybacks

  • 2018: Appointed Senior Technical Advisor for Hartree Maritime Partners LLC for the construction of 4 VLCCs at DSME.

  • 2018: Entered into a contract transfer agreement with Apollo Asset Limited for 4 new-building contracts and 3 options for VLCCs at DSME.

  • 2017: Badger Explorer changed its name to Hunter Group.
  • 2007: Badger Explorer was listed on Oslo Axess under the ticker BXPL.
  • 2003: Badger Explorer ASA was established, introducing a drilling robot with logging sensors to explore hydrocarbon presence, reducing risks, costs, and complexity in oil exploration.
